NCPEA Mentioned In Book on Women's Health
In time for the 40th anniversary of the book’s first publication, “Our Bodies, Ourselves (Touchstone Paperback / Simon & Schuster, 2011, $26.00)” includes completely revised and updated material critical to women’s health issues. Considered the gold standard for women’s health books, “Our Bodies, Ourselves” has the most up-to-date information for a new generation of women. For the first time, the book includes information about elder abuse and violence against older women, provided by contributing author Holly Ramsey-Klawsnik, Ph.D., Chair of the Education Committee for the National Committee for the Prevention of Elder Abuse. Dr. Ramsey-Klawsnik is a trainer and consultant who provides services to multiple state and federal agencies and researches regarding interpersonal violence. We are proud to have NCPEA and its website listed as a resource in this important volume.
